Effective August 29, 2025, the duty-free de minimis threshold of USD 800 will be removed for all shipments to the United States.

As a result, all shipments handled by FedEx, DHL and similar carriers may now incur U.S. customs duties, tariffs, and fees, regardless of their declared value.

We strongly recommend that our U.S. customers consult with their customs brokers to understand the applicable charges before placing orders.

Tosshin Co., Ltd. will continue to support smooth shipping, but please note that duties and taxes are the responsibility of the consignee.


⭐ EMS Japan Post shipments: Temporary Suspension of Acceptance of Mail to the United States Due to Changes in U.S. Customs and Regulations ⭐

Effective August 27, 2025, Japan Post will temporarily suspend acceptance of EMS, parcels, and small packets containing goods to the United States due to

changes in U.S. customs regulations following the termination of de minimis treatment.

⭐Suspended items: Goods intended for sale/consumption, and gifts exceeding USD 100 in value.
